•GPSWEEN AVL solution provides a variety of basic and advanced features in the area of vehicle tracking and fleet management depending on the type of GPS device installed in the vehicle
•Basic features include the following: (with basic GPS device)
–Location : most up to date location of vehicle on the map with street address and coordinates (up to 1 min or less depending or customer requirement)
–Speed : speed of vehicle at current location
–Status of fleet : which vehicles are parked (engine switched off), idle (with engine running) and moving
–Remote switch OFF/ON : remotely switch off or on engine of vehicle
–Geo fence : ability to create zones on the map to monitor movement of vehicle in or out of this zone, for example vehicle entering or exiting a city or district etc.
–Mileage : distance covered by the vehicle independent from the odometer reading
–History : ability to monitor and display movement of vehicle in the history for audit and any other purpose
–Harsh braking : system can detect if the driver is applying brakes very harshly
–Fleet management : system comes with basic Fleet Management module covering all basic features of FMS
–Alerts : various alerts can be generated from the application and sent to the customer through SMS or email. These alerts can be violation of speed limit, geo fence violation (for example driver entering into a no-go zone), temperature increase or decrease beyond a threshold, distance (vehicle exceeding maximum allowed KM for the day or trip) etc.
–Reports : various standard reports giving information on vehicle movement, trips, idle time, mileage, history and alerts. Customized reports can also be developed as per user requirement
•Advanced parameters can also be monitored for example, fuel level, temperature, accident detection, fuel efficiency and more. These require advanced GPS device and in some cases tapping into the vehicles CANbus interface
•AVL solution can be integrated with any ERP or business application to benefit from tracking data
